Creative writing workshops in Spanish
Since 2003, Claudia Prado has led poetry and prose workshops for adults and adolescents. The name of this project is En un rincón de mí nacerá una planta (In a corner of myself a plant will grow), a phrase taken from a text about the craft of writing from the uruguayan author Felisberto Hernández. Nowadays she lives in Jersey City and runs creative writing workshops in Spanish in New York and New Jersey.
She offers also individual meetings by Skype.
She works aswell coordinating community workshops with some organizations (Word Up Community Bookshop, Immigrant Movement International, National Domestic Workers Alliance), some of them with the support of Poets & Writers.

Desde 2003, Claudia Prado realiza talleres de escritura para adultos y adolescentes. El nombre de este proyecto es "En un rincón de mí nacerá una planta", una frase tomada de un texto del autor uruguayo Felisberto Hernández.
En la acualidad vive en Jersey City y organiza talleres en esañol en Nueva York y Nueva Jersey.
También realiza talleres individuales por Skype.
Además, trabaja coordinando talleres de escritura comunitarios en algunas organizaciones (Word Up Community Bookshop, Immigrant Movement International, National Domestic Workers Alliance), en algunos casos con el apoyo de Poets & Writers.
